Tsali Recreation Area - NC

Hello board. it has been quite a while since I last posted up. But it has also been quite a while since I have had the chance to get out the in the woods as well.

I actually have a trip planned this weekend out to Tsali and I am curious if anyone on the board has ever hung there before, and if they had any issues doing so?

I was going to call the Ranger Station and make the ask...but since we are basically car camping for this one, I figured I could just take both, hammock set-up and tent, just in case....

But I would be interested to know if this had been done there? I did a search but sidn't find much mention at all of Tsali.

No issue hanging at Tsali. I hung there one night before a kayak trip on Fontana Lake.

Almost all of the sites are wooded with hanging options.

It's pretty close, maybe a 10 mile drive.
