Thanks Chris, but the yeti is definitely adjusted so there are no gaps. I've had it for well over a year and a half and have checked it with someone else in it.

Huh, well I don't know what to tell ya then! I have no experience with that particular UQ but usually if somebody is cold there is a gap. Does it loft as high as it did when you first got it?

I had my 3 Season Incubator & Burrow down to 30 degrees weekend before last and was toasty warm in light weight polypro long sleeve top & long bottoms, light weight smart wool socks, and Black Rock down beanie. No cold spots at all. Minimal adjusting for my first real use of this underquilt. I just shortened up the end shock cords a little bit by tying in a loop, and made sure the end channels were snugged up. I am 5'6" and I had great coverage from head to toe.

    Thankyou all for your help!
One last question, is the incubator wide enough to accomodate a fetal position sleeper?

I bought a 3-season Incubator last fall and am VERY pleased with it. After discussing it with Adam I did NOT get an overfill.

I tend to be a cold sleeper but I've had the Incubator down to 20* with no problems. The real key is to make sure the quilt fits snuggly against your bottom when in the hammock. In my case, I needed to shorten the shock cord suspension a little bit to accomplish that. Simple to do -- just tie an overhand knot into the shock cord. If its not snug, cold air will find its way to you.

You'll love the Incubator. Good luck!

I slept in mine with the Traveler last night (Western Divide Hwy) again. It works well enough for me in that position (remember I'm wide)...a custom wider would be nice but not a huge need.

Have people found the 20 degree rating to be fairly accurate? I think I must be turning into a cold sleeper, as my 3 season yeti can only get me down to about 40 in comfort.

I've done searches, but haven't uncovered a lot about this quilt. Thanks in advance!
I don't think you're gonna see much, if any, down shifting with 900fp down. 550 and 650 yes, but 800-900fp no.

I asked a similar question over in the hammock gear forum "How low can you go?" and it seemed like folks were using then down into the 20's without issue.

Thanks dla, the 900 fill in my peapod occasionally needs moving around, but it is far longer than a standard UQ. I think to have overstuffed the peapod would have meant an extra pound of down!
