I dont have the luxury of waiting for the cold anymore, that weekend
is the only time i can test my equipment before heading north!

So i really hope it will get down to atleast -10c!

Perhaps there is some kind of ritual i can perform in order to increase
my chances of some serious coldness that i am not aware of?

how do you northern peeps get the weather to change?
    Yeah !
    Here we go !
We will do this test run and we don't care what temps we get !
We hope for coldness but Klart.se says -9°

We will probebly take sameslingan to the shelter at Långsjön (depending on the wind).

Any hanger out there wanna join ?

No freeze dried food at ICA. Sorry.

    Thanks Joz.
Can I easily find freeze-dried soups (Knorr, Maggi...) in Sweden ?
I sometimes added them to some rice, pastas, etc. so I can eat some "vegetables".
Want to spend your next summer vacations in Sweden ? Hey... That's cool !

Never heard of Maggi, but Knorr is around, almost in every food store.
Just, let me know if you want me to store/send you stuff while you are here.

    Thanks Moski ! I'm preparing 2 to 3 cargo containers !

    Kidding...
That's very kind from you. I'm going to leave the bulky things in France and will buy them in Sweden, only taking the "technical" and expensive stuff with me to Sweden.

The freeze-dried food is just in case. 5 to 7 days of meals would be OK, for the survival issues... if I'm lost in the middle of nowhere and can't hunt a moose with my aluminium fork...

On my way, I will be able to reach a town every 3 to 5 days. So for the fresh food and water, it will be OK. I was asking you about the ICA because in almost every town, I could find one.

I have not managed to convince anyone to come along. For some reason people just start looking at me in a funny way when I talk about traveling this far for a couple of hammocking nights. People need to get their priorities straight

Maybe we should have recruited this hammocking girl:
