How big is the KAQ ?

Weighted my bags today when almost every thing is packed !

Pulk bag with food = 12.7 kg
Rab 140 L bag = 17 kg
Kifaru Scout (Pulling ruck) = 4 kg

Thats 33.7 KG folks

But then thats includes:

Pulk
Skis
Poles
Shovel

Smhi still says -17C on Sunday morning

Porjus temps

And Malå has about the same

When you do your cold test this weekend,
can you report back how the shockcord managed ?

We will also report, but you will have it much colder than us

What diameter do you use at winter ?
I use 8mm ATM.

Last winter i had a 10cm drop of the UQ with thin diameter shockcord @ -20C,
luckily it was in my backyard

So maybe this is something everyone should think of ?

I believe my shockcord is 5mm.
The one that came with the UQ was about 2mm

I usually do so.
That´s because I like to have the coldness for myself......

Right now we have -31C outside.
A little bit warmer inside......

This night it was -35,4C in the woods!

I will try to sleep out tonight and the next night to see if my gear works in such a cold.

If I survive it is possible I will take a new personal record!
