Exclamation Hint for the New Folks on Here...."Stickys"

Hello and Whoooo Buddy to all the many new members here on HF.
When I first joined I had no idea what a "Sticky" was....so....look at the top under most thread topics and you will find Sticky that contain a wealth of hammock and other info)))))))
Will more than likely save you time and get you hanging in the piney woods or garage or wherever sooner.
Have fun and get out there.

Wow thats some image skill right there. Circles, moving .gifs. Kudos to that.

Now question is, does the thread about stickies become a sticky?

I was thinking the same thing! Gotta love a good ol' fashioned catch 22.

I didn't have a lot of forum experience before joining the Hammock Forums, and I'm embarassed to say just how long it took me to figure out just how enormously helpful these stickies are--they're pinned up top for a reason. I realize that a lot of hammock noobs are also forum noobs, so when I see a question that I know has been covered in depth in one of the stickies, I either provide a link, or, if I'm on my phone (links are a real pain), I politely tell them where they can find the sticky.

Thanks to the mods for providing these stickies--VERY helpful. And thanks, Shug, for the timely reminder.
You're gonna need a bigger hammock

I have to agree that I hate other forums that immediately tell me that I should have searched. I mean dont you think I tried to find the answer before asking? and like randy said this is a real place where nice people will help you out. hands down best forum ever
