Finally got an opportunity to spend the night inside my WL bug net. I set up early in the evening but didn't crawl in till nearly midnight. Its in there...between the tarp tie-outs...see it?

No? Maybe this angle is a little better...

The night was warm and humid but it didn't seem overly stuffy inside the net. I had my DIY PLUQ slung up under my hammock but probably didn't really need it and had my fleece TQ on top. The TQ was a little much early on so I kicked it down to the far end of my hammock and propped my legs on top.

But by morning I'd tucked my feet in and pulled it up snug. Would have slept great had it not been for a deer somewhere in the woods back behind the house that winded me and kept snorting and blowing every hour or two...

When nature's call finally convinced me it was time to get up this morning I was able to unzip the net and roll over and out of my hammock as (un)graceful as ever...

Think I'm ready for some more skeeterless summer hangin'!

Excellent! I made a HUG which works fine, but was looking out for a full length net so I could kick my quilt off, and I was not looking forward to DIY'ing it (zippers scare me.). This fits the bill just right - Just ordered two (an extra for my nephew!)

Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

I've been shopping around for a couple bug nets for my and my fiance's ENO's so we can hang down here in the deep south. These might just do the trick.

    Yup, that they do.

BTW, to answer the how small does it pack down question...imagine a 20 oz Mountain Dew bottle cut off just below the top shoulder...bout that size, maybe just a tad bigger in diameter...
