I've heard of folks using hammock fans on their ridge line. I did a brief search and was unable to find any threads with fan in the title...
Any folks out there with small fans that have worked for them?

I have rigged two up before! I got two small battery powered ones from WalMart and used some cordage to rig them up one was on my hammock the other was on my better halfs! They worked very well, was a pain to get the fan centered so it would hang right, but through persistence and a lot of cordage I got it to work!

Don't feel bad, it took me quite a bit of searching to find them. I could not find my final version today (I haven't used it since last summer) but I will look some more tomorrow. I found some old pics of my first fan set up from way back in 2003. I just noticed the zipper mod I did back then to my HH. Boy, did I catch a lot of flack over that. I was told that I was defacing hammock perfection and making it unsafe to use. Funny Huh!

Just got one of these for fathers day. Seems to push the air around a good bit. I'll do a test outside later, supposed to be 95 here today.

The description on the website is wrong, it isn't a misting fan. I might have to alter the way the carabiner is attached so the fan points at me more when hanging on the ridgeline.
This is the one I use.......small, light and works OK in our temps up here. At least it moves some air.

That's weird, I tried to post this last night but I guess it did not go through.
Anyhoo, my dear wife found where I had put my fan so I would not forget where I put it. Thanks Honey!
2.1 oz w/o battery but it can use any battery or combo of batteries from 1.5v to 3.0v (AA, C, or D cells).
