I have ordered from On Rope 1 several times and Bruce seems to share the same characteristics as most of our cottage vendors here. I got the opportunity to take one of his training courses several years ago and as a side trip from his training he took us to his home to see his shop. Great guy, very intelligent. However, there is not much concern for his gear to be in the ultra light category although rope, webbing, carabiners are pretty typical in their weights. I would not hesitate to purchase from him again if he had the product that I was looking for.
