    my 1st DIY woopies...

7/64" amsteel blue, in green... I was hoping for darker.. but it will do. From Redden marine.
made four total, or two sets... 13' starting length
4" fixed eye, 6" buried lock with braided berkely fishing line.
    10" buried for adjustable loop.

used a length of 22 ga. steel wire folded in half to pull the buries.

looking good... now just continue the wait for the claytor...

Nice work. Just so I'm clear...you used the fishing line to lock stitch the bury?

Looks good. Have you tried a locked brummel splice instead of stitching?

+1 for the locked brummel. The first set I made were stitched but I have since switched them out for the locked brummel style. The fixed bury doesn't have to be as long so the adjustable bury is a bit closer to the hammock, which means you can hang between objects that are a little closer than if you had the stitched bury.

Great job, but beware. Making whoopie(s) can become addictive. ;-)

yep... swapped them out to locked brummel...
much faster, I can crank these things out now.

two sets 5'+ added a bead into the adjustable loop so it cant pull threw accidentally.

I made my first whoopie yesterda. Kinda sloppy but no one else will know.
If it weren't for physics and law enforcement, I'd be unstoppable.
