Been a member of the forum for quite a while. Finally bought a hammock. Picked up a Trek Light Double in camo as a Father's Day gift to myself. Only had a chance to hang in it for a couple minutes so far but looking forward to getting to use it alot. Now time to pick out a tarp.

I've had an ENO for about a year, but haven't had it set up well enough to be comfortable.
I got an HH Expedition ASYM Velcro closing hammock yesterday.
Went behind the cabin and set it up on the hill side.
That was the only place I could find trees where it would work.
I think it is more possible to sleep than the ENO.
I plan to use one of my thermarests for padding.
Lashing the way Tom's videos describe worked well for me.
I didn't set up the fly yet. I didn't bring stakes, and there weren't trees in the right place.

Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.
