This thread is amazing. Many here owe the OP an apology.

The OP posted because he was confused. He assumed something was not right. He was asking a question. Many got on here an responded that it was not a problem just the manufacturer shipping what he had as quickly as possible. Even made the OP feel bad about questioning it so much that the OP felt the need to say he was sorry. In fact a mistake was made, the OP had reason to question and he should not be called out for questioning. As has been pointed out mistakes are made sometimes but that does not mean that the question could not be asked and he should not have been made to feel bad for asking.
To my way of thinking, the correct place to ask the question is to the maker, not here. That is the only reason why some people thought it was a partial shipment. That was a guess on their part. No matter what the guesses, they were just guesses. The truth is a mistake was made on WB's part. He acknowledged the error and was good about shipping the missing piece. Overnighting it at customer's expense was a nice compromise. Maybe some would have made a different choice, but this was satisfactory to both parties. Our opinions here no longer matter, if they ever did.
i agree with riverpirate. people jumped right on the OP (first being angry sparrow) for simply asking a question on a forum dedicated to the manufacturer's gear. a new member of the forums would likely post that question there. that's where i would've posted it.
any other question about the company would've been entertained here. sometimes people are TOO quick to defend the slightest hint of a problem...
I didn't 'jump on' anyone. I asked if he contacted WB before posting, as makes sense.
The OP later edited his first post afterwards to remove the harsh tone.
