    stretch

my whoopies look like they have stretched where they enter and go thru eachother. Anyone else have this problem or do you think the dyneema is defective. looks like about 1/4in of stretch

That is the way my amsteel whoopies look. I think it is the braiding opening up more than the fibers stretching. Completely normal.

I totally agree with the above. Many that I've seen are the same way.

Yup. It's the braid shifting. Dyneema doesn't stretch (at least not noticeably).

Whoopies out of Dyneema?? For your suspensions? I need to look into this stuff.
Can I find it at Redman?

i have noticed mine stretching as well... but only on the slings that I mess with over and over with. One set (for my HH Expidition) I took apart a few times trying to the length the way I wanted are really abused looking.

But the others that I don't mess with and keep in the hammock, are all in good shape (for the most part.)

time to order some Dyneema thanks to Knotty.

Amsteel is made out of Dyneema. He was saying the whoopies shouldn't stretch because they are made out of Dyneema.
