Michigan Hangers - Pickney Recreation Area

OK guys, looking for some help. Finally have a free weekend to get away and looking for info on Pickney Recreation Area. Never been there, but will be in the area this weekend. Specifically ...... can a person hang here? Want a short hike in to a somewhat remote area to spend a day relaxing. Any thoughts?
I'm so out of shape ......I passed gas yesterday and pulled a muscle!

Actually, Blind Lake has an outhouse and water. There is a short cut to make the hike in 5 miles. The rangers can show it to you on the map. Bloomgorge has done this quite a few times. Maybe he'll see this soon.

No biggie. They don't advertise much about Blind Lake. Heck, I've been going there for a long time and didn't even know there was a backcountry campsite until a bit ago. It doesn't even show up on some of the maps of the area.

    Pinckney Rec

I have to disagree with the first post. I have used this recreation area numerous times as it is close to home and great for my overnight trips and gear testing. I have checked most of the sites for hammock use, pacing out distance between trees and there are several sites suitable for hammock use. I keep a list of these sites in my glovebox so there is no need to search for a suitable site when I arrive. I just check the availability map in the HQ when I show up and compare it to my list. So far my order is as foolows:

Site 20 number 1 choice can hang two separate hammock setups, private, trail access to other side of lake and ample access to downed wood on uphill side of that trail.
Site 21 smaller and borders another site.
Site 11 huge site, longer stretch between trees
    Sites 10,14,3,4
Thare are trail options for loop hikes but other than heading for blind lake for an overnite, no option to camp anywhere on the trail loops. I like it.
