So, how many helium balloons does it take to hold up a hammock?

I can't weight to see a new suspension system. I remember about a year or two ago, it seemed that a new suspension idea was coming out on these forums weekly!

The idea is that it is easy to set up, adaptable ie can be used many ways, and lightweight. I am NOT using nylon because of the streach factor. I am waiting to hear back from a place to see what cost would be as well as weight.

pretty much all hammock ideas are.. Just depends if people want to put in the energy for DIY or just buy it (Whoopie slings, tree huggers, Hammocks, Tarps, etc..."

My question is do you folks think there is room for another system and any idea of what company might be intrested in marketing it?

The answers to those are 1)yes, we always like more options and 2)nobody.

If you have a suspension idea, post it here for us to see. This forum is about sharing information and ideas.

If you just want to invent something to make money from, that's okay too, but 'bringing it to market' decidedly isn't the purpose of this forum.

BTW, inventing a suspension yet not knowing how to spell it (title) isn't a good sign.
