    From Mass.

Hey am looking for some relatively secluded car camping spots in Mass. So of the guys I am going with aren't up to backpacking but want to do a last time campout with a buddy who is moving. I live near the Northampton/Springfield area and looking to do a spot. Any suggestions?

That's about 5 mins east of me. Some good eats. What were you doing out this way?

I'm not sure exactly what your looking for but there is Sperry campground on the Mount Greylock state reserve and the Mohawk trail state forest campground in my neck of the woods. Both have car camping available.
We had a group hang at the Mohawk trail state forest group site and everyone liked the spot.

We passed through the sperry rd. Campsites a couple of weeks ago. Not a bad place. What was the cost for the Mohawk trail campgrounds it looks like a good place to go. Also it isn't far from me at all.

The link in my previous post has a "reserve a campsite" link on the left side. This will allow you to check availability and cost. Here is a link to current prices. They vary depending on site-

The wife really likes Dar State Forest. She said they have some private spots. I have never been though.
