    Too much math

Ok, I love my hammock. I love feeling the breeze through it, and the way it gently rocks me into a nuzzling slumber. But there is seriously way too much math involved.

The CoTangent of triangle X, the hypotenus of triangle Y, dilution of dilution to 0.Z%, the coefficient of blah blah blah. It all makes my head hurt. If I wasn't already I hanger I'd swear you need a PHD in advanced Mathmatics and Engineering to do this stuff.

Along with this rant comes my sincere thanks to everyone out there who does understand all of this and then says go buy this product, it works both theoretically and practically. Without you all I'd be sleeping in bed sheet with ropes attached to the ends.

i think some ppl overthink hammocks... don't worry about this angle or that knot... just set it up that it looks right... get in and sleep

don't worry about your angle of hang or the math if it feels right it's right...
    don't overthink it......
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

The only math I'd ever worried about was:

"By the numbers, will this cord hold me?"

Other than that, it's all good.

Hang your own hang. If that means a commercial hammock with no mods and no math, great. Just enjoy the simple pleasure.

But for some the fiddle factor is half the fun. Let me, I mean them, have fun with the calculations, mods and experiments.
