Recognized the site immediately. I've stopped there several times for lunch or a break.

We took a side trip and shuttled up to another trail to get to site#2 last year. It's a beautiful hike on the Blackbird Knob trail from the campground. I think I'd do that instead of the shuttled side hike like last year. Lookin forward to seein more of the sods this year.

I'm saving vacation days for Dolly Sods in Sept. Looking forward to hitting some of the trails we didn't do (the lower trails) last year. Glad you had a good time. It's definitely a great place to hike - easy hiking and beautiful.
I like big hammocks - I cannot like.

Looks like I most likely can't do this one incredibly bummed. As it stands the only way I can make it is to do sunday then leave on monday. Just trying to decide if one day is worth a 10 hour trip.

I have one more option that doesn't seem to promising to get saturday, or maybe tuesday off. If that's the case is anyone staying monday night and leaving tuesday?

Moe-z and I are in. Don't have the exact days pinned down as work is a bit crazy right now, but we are in for some period of time.
