That stand is a thing of beauty. And now I have another thing on a laundry list of things to make. Thanks a lot.
Fry: "I can't swallow that!"
Farnsworth: "Well then, good news! It's a suppository."
That's cool!
That really is a nice stand. The one I am going to build from threaded pipe this week will not look nearly as nice but a similar design.
My two granddaughters have been spending alot of time in my hammock. So I'm thinking of two more smaller, lighter stands out of wood for them. Then I notice the childs swing set in the backyard, it might work, they're 7 & 11 both well under 100#s. Time to go scrounging. Oh, and my wife is concerned about me spreading the addiction.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
Looks like a great stand, but it's not for me. I'm against the whole moveable stand on the floor. My thought about the hammock in my "bedroom" is that when I put the hammock away the area is free.
I will copycat this for sure, got and old swing frame in the backyard...
Awesome! I had forgotten I saw this post before I jury-rigged my get up -- it looks like we're using the same ends!
Good dog, Goooood dog!, Now, lay down!

I'm on it....
