Well...I see there's at least a couple hangers in Alberta, and given our 1/2 year winter season, I think I understand why.
But Shug gives me hope! Awesome stuff Shug!!!
I have myself a single para hammock and have decided that to get the diag positioning and easier use of a pad, I'm going to have to move to a double. That's ok...I'm already a self-admitted gear hoar. And I already have a 10'x10' tarp. I'm playing with suspension. Right now I'm using webbing straps and steel rings for adjustment.
Anyway...I get some lunchtime hangtime when I'm working in the Forest and use that opportunity to 'fiddle'.
And as my older son moves up from Cub Scouts to Scouts, I'll get to tag along on camps and get opportunities to try it camping (year round too.).
Well...glad to be here and thanks in advance for the wealth of knowledge you all share.
