Hey (y')all! I've been a member of the forum for a few weeks now, but started out as more of a stalker trying to learn. This week I've been trying to be more of a contributing member by posting some and I figure it's high time to say hello and introduce myself! I'm from down in the southern part of Mississippi (it's HOT right now!). I grew up hunting, fishing, and camping, so I'm no newbie to the outdoors, but I've just recently taken up hammock camping and hiking/backpacking. I love the forums and have learned a TON here and from some pretty entertaining videos from one of HF's own celebrities(Thanks Shug). I've still got a lot to learn and figure out, but I'm happy to know I've got a great base of knowledgeable people I can turn to here if I ever need advice or help (and there are quite a few pretty respectable people here too judging by the PIF thread and all the help REV got when his gear was stolen. Warms my heart to know there are still good people in this world and makes me proud to call myself a part of this group. End sappiness). I look forward to many years of hanging and enjoying the camaraderie on this forum (and to getting all my friends hooked on hammocks, but that's another story...). Thanks everyone, hope to see some of you on the trail someday!
