Noobie hoping to learn the lingo....

Well I'm keeping an open mind about sleeping off ground and need to learn the terms and names and words used for all the parts and pieces. Plan on reading up some every night hope to make my own hammock. whoopies, slings, tree hangers its all new to me and looking forward to the education. Bear with me if I ask something dumb and I promise to be a quick learner.

    Jim in Jax.

Welcome to the HF. The only dumb questions are the ones that you don't ask. We are a friendly group and glad to help.

Welcome to HF! there is alot to learn here from some good folks. Be sure to read up on the "sticky" threads, they are were very helpful to me. An easier and more entertaining way is to check out Shugs video series designed for noobs. You will be hangin' and slingin' the slang in no time

Hey, I'm the only one to ask the dumb questions. Welcome to the forum.

    welcome to the madness.

No such thing as a dumb question, just dumb answers

The dumb persone thinks he or she already knows everything and does not ask questions.

The intelligent person knows they do not have the answer and will ask the question to find the answer.

HF as well as Banjo Hangout are the two nicest online communities I've ever come across!

It will be a long while before you tire of reading these forums!
