Toying with getting a gorilla pod. I assume I can wrap it around the handle on my pole and use it as a stick pick.
Also been toying around with the idea of making something to easily lash both poles together for a really long stick pick.

For what it's worth, I use an UltraPod (small) and really like it. I had a Gorilla Pod with the articulated grippy-balls but found it didn't secure very tightly and I'd have to secure it seperately.
As for software, I use Windows Movie Maker. Easy to work with for my simple needs. Be nice to upgrade to something more "jazzy", but haven't needed to yet.
