I would love a fall hang... depending on the weekend I am in!
Thats the only available weekend for myself & Nicky, let me talk to her & see if she wants to go. We are still waiting to close on a home, so, no guanrantees, but that weekend I DONT have any piping stuff going on, so its a tentative yes for us. Well, me, anyway...we will see what she can do.
Ok, both Nicky & myself can make it that proposed weekend. IS this still happening?
OK. If you get in touch with him, post something here. Have him PM me-I may be able to swing up there (I live a little over an hour away), and check them out. I will talk with him though, if you get in touch with him.
I am going to Monadnock on Saturday and will scope out the campsites and discuss hanging hammocks with the Park Rangers. This is a State Park, not USFS.
Monadnock has a range of trails of varying difficulty and it is very easy to do short or long loops from the campground.
And if anyone wanted to do some longer hiking we could taxi them down the M-M trail.
Love my JRB BMB
Hi Folks,
Just wanted to drop a note saying I'm interested if this is still a go. Never been to a NEHHA hang before, but sounds fun!
Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive . I haven't been able to get up there to look at the State park so I dont know how the area is for camping yet.
I still want to do a fall hang but as to if Sept will work for me is still up in the air right now.
I dont think it would be wise to book any camp sites that we haven't seen yet or have any feed back on.
After next weekend I will have free time to get up there but if someone else is heading up there, feel free to take pics and get an idea as to what sites work better.
If anyone else has a location that might work good to, let everyone know and we can look into that location as well.
The group site at the DAR in Goshen is nice, I can get some pictures this weekend... they have a small lake for swimming and kayaking and some hiking trails... The group site is way away from the rest of the campground so that is a plus...
I'm in.
DAR looks good.
Will keep checking in.
BTW Genegene does that black bear I saw at Granville have a name?
