    WTB: Trangia stove w/pot stand

Before I go commercial, I thought I'd check the forum to see if anyone has a Trangia stove they don't want any more. I'd like to get one before July 20 so I'll have it for my week-long backpacking trip.

I use a mini Trangia and I love it as a stove. It works great, but to be honest it's a little heavy.

Well the trangia is heavy when compared to my mini atomic clone but its a feather compared to my coleman multi fuel. Its like 3 ounces, the same as the pot I use with it. I've never found a pot stand for it that wasn't huge and heavy to I made one with a soup can, a church key and a dremmel. Ugly but works well and is light. I think I only paid 14 bucks for a new one on amazon (for the trangia, not the soup can)

I like my little redbull stove but its a pressurized stove that needs to be primed. The Trangia is convenient in that it is self priming and has a snuffing cap and a simmer ring. You also don't have to let it burn dry or try to empty it. Just screw on the cap.

There is a nock off Ti version out now that wieghts 1.4 oz. My only complaint is that it does not have a screw on lid like the Trangia.

The screw on lid is a huge bonus. That's the main reason I haven't switched to the evernew
