Welcome, this forum is a great resource.
I was just visiting my son in Lake Forest Park last week, hung at second beach at La Push, hit Olympic National Park, Hoh rain forest, Hurriciane Ridge.... Did several day hikes, visted Paradise at Rainer, such a beautiful area. i'm making a list for my next visit....

Welcome, Rabbi! Enjoy that HH when it gets there. It may be the only one you ever need or want. Not likely though! I'm still a big HH fan, but I own ( or have owned) and like so many others also. Including my 1st love, a HH UL Explorer as well as a No Net HH Safari. Plus, I have tested a HH DJ XL that Cannibal loaned me, and it is a sweet hammock. I actually now have 3 HH SuperShelters just to use on my HHs. Now that is an illness! ( I tell myself they are for my grandchildren!)
So have fun!
Thanks for all the great welcome messages. The HHED showed up yesterday as expected. This afternoon the family and I are heading out to Mazama Washington for the weekend. We will be staying in the family's cabin, but I'm bringing the hammock with me to practice setting up and taking down. I've got a set of snake skins to install as well. I've already started working on a DIY sleeping bag UQ. I'll let you all know how things go.
