    Question Summer Hanging....

For me, it's to hot for a hang....90 + degrees, and bugs just isn't my kind of fun. Soooooooo

My question is.....what do you do during the " Dog Days of Summer".....

For me, I am making a hammock.....complete with built in bug net....CHecking out all the new equipment, selling and buying..etc. etc.

I am one of those that prefers the heat to the cold. I would never camp in some of that white stiff Shug does.

I go out about 7:30 or 8ish in the evenings into the shady woods of my backyard and hang there for an hour or so and read till it's too dark to do so. Last night was very nice, I listened to the cacophony of the cicada's singing and the birds chirping while reading Lord of the Rings, some grey clouds rolled up and thunder rolled a couple of times, but it did not rain, very relaxing.

Well my job keeps me gone and unable to do anything, so when I'm home my wife and I generally take the trailer some where for a trip, that's our time doing the short day trails, shopping, etc... then we go home and I go some where during the week for a day or two hanging and hiking...

I said all that to say I'm looking at places to go hang in August in the south, Alabama, it will be hot, humid, etc...and hopefully quite, peaceful, either way I know I always enjoy the experience...

Built indoor stand, converting first diy hammock for indoor use, planning replacement diy hammock, revisiting backpack to lighten the load, planning indoor hammocks for 2 granddaughters, need TQ to replace fleece blankets, make new tarp, wait for fall.
