    You did such a great job on this tarp and documented it so well, you inspired me to make my own which was my first big diy project. Thanks to your pictures and measurements, it was no problem. Thank you! Now I'm ready to start a top quilt.

    Hello, I was thinking of attempting the same tarp. However I was thinking of using 1/4 inch grosgrain on the edges. I would first see it to the fabric then roll it similar to how a bridge hammock is made. My question is would this method be just as strong, and would this give me a noticeable weight savings?
