    Amsteel/web guitar strap

Using leftover camo webbing and amsteel: Take a length of amsteel, splice one end through the amsteel halfway along the length to make a loop that can be cinched around the strap lock post. Then tie the amsteel into a loop using a double fisherman's bend. Then larkshead the webbing to the amsteel loops. Very nice and soft strap. Probably the most comforatable I ever used! All thanks to my hammock suspension fetish.

Great idea (I love how hammocking starts to creep into other facets of life) . I might try making a mini whoopie for mine so that bad boy will be fully adjustable--not necessary, true, but the coolness factor would go all the way up to 11 .

    Thanks for the idea!
You're gonna need a bigger hammock

Very cool! If I had a guitar, and knew how to play it, I'd want that strap. Way to innovate!

You do realize that every moment you spend making straps is a moment you are not practising your scales. Get back to work!
