I got some 1.1 DWR at Hancock's this past weekend. You're right, they have it in lots of different colors and I pd $4.50/yd. Not as good as the $1 Walmart deal, but better than most places I've seen online, plus it's nice to see what you're buying.

Funny side note - when I was "breathing" through the material, the sales clerk looked at me like I was nuts. Then she just said that at least I didn't burn the end of it like another customer did one day!

Had to be someome from HF!

They do have an online store, but the site is being updated. Could be another option for fabric.

I was at Hobby Lobby (this was a month or two ago) and they had some ripstop there. I want to say it was $5.99 a yard and they had 3-5 different colors available. No idea what weight or if it was DWR, I just know that it was ripstop nylon. Next time I head home for a weekend I'll check (or I'll look around here).
They might not be cheaper, but if I get to not spend S&H costs, and can hold it in my hands before I buy it, it could be worth it...

My kids and I joke about doing the burn test in the store, but at least we have sense enough not to, LOL!
