DIY Material Source Comparison

I made a chart today comparing prices and options at some of the more common places to buy DIY materials. Right now it only has fabrics but more will be added. Feel free to edit it as long as what you add is on topic(as in what you would buy when making a tarp, hammock, or quilt.).

Excellent! I am kicking around the idea of making a tarp, and this helps me make my choices. Along those lines, would one consider making a tarp from Sil seconds, or only the 1st choice silnylon for tarps?

You'll never know the difference between the 1st's and 2nd's except in the price.

As said by gmcttr, the only easily visible difference is the price. The seconds have very minor defects that will not be found unless scanning for them. They will still be waterproof.
