My new Zpack Cuben Fiber Hex Tarp

here she is... i'll be testing her out tonight in the yard ... there is some wind and maybe some rain if i'm lucky
for a 5oz tarp this is a BIG tarp.... it's crazy how light it is and how big it is... i still can't get over it i plan on using it 4 season i'm going to make CF grizz breaks for it for the winter .... but this tarp and the WBBB is my setup
and my bridge here and there

It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

yeah you can play drums on it LOL
it does have a nice tight pitch ... if you ask me Hex is just as good as cat cut if done right.... the only tarp i had problems with was my old Speer 10x8 it wasn't bad but i could never get a tight pitch with it...
the Zpack tarp has a nice tight pitch i would say go for it
at $235 it's a steal for the size and weight.... i mean look it covers my WBBB really nice i'm using this bad boy as my winter tarp too LOL

i think one good reason to go straight cut is cuben.. it does not stretch. with sil, you need cat cut.
this is my exact tarp. i chose it because it has many pitching options. looks like a great choice, thanks for sharing.

Wow... i could'nt even find a small siltarp when i was wtb... and then you go find a CF tarp in shorter time!.... Talk about envy!
But it sure looks good though!... Congrat's!

Edit: Better watch out if you ever find nice cheese on the trail.... seems that more than on HF could be lurking behind a nearby tree(me including) ready to swipe your new toy The more i look at it the better it looks...

So jealous! Things a beaut. Love her and treat her good.

Do you think a rectangle would still have a taut pitch with the side pull outs and a single panel pull?
