Ready for my HH with MOD4 from you soon!
    Hi Jerry,
The quilt you see is a JRB Hudson River turned with the black side out. Donna added 3ozs of down to it and modified it a bit. It serves me well as a UQ down to about 40° where I switch over to my Snugfit for the winter. The HR then becomes my TQ.

Yes, your Mod 4 order is in the que for the end of the week!

Another great job by 2QZQ on my hammock MOD4. Now my daughter wants her HH done next.

    Thanks!!

I haven't had a chance to thank you both for everything....from the flawless work, to the extra mile to help me choose the best mod, to the heads up on books, gear an other resources, and finally how ever it was you got the 14 days of Ottawa Valley woodsmoke out of my hammock...A Big Thank You

...ZQ here...Thanks! We were happy to be of service! And....I didn't do anything to get the wood smoke out of your hammock, although, I did notice it as I was sewing the mod. The smell must have just disappeared!

My girlfriend did exactly this a couple months ago. No idea how, but she had totally flipped the hammock over in the night. HH guild lines were wrapped around her. She was on the netting. All the under insulation was on top and being held tight by the HH shock cord guild lines.

No idea how she managed an alligator roll in it. Should have taken pictures.

To get her out, I had to roll her over like a canoe that had tipped over.

Quick trail inspection and another back and home showed no damage (that I could find) to the netting.

I got the mod 4 with a peak bag, sewed up the velcro- She started working on it on a Monday, and I got it back on the Friday of that same week. Stitching looks amazing, great service, fair price, what's not to like?

Going to make it my primary hammock now! It went from no use to full use with their handy work!

Interesting how differently the narrator pronounces "hammock" compared to the way I'm used to saying and hearing it here in NJ.
Dont worry Knotty, the way you pronounce it is the right way! you are from jersey.
The mods that i have seen close up look as top notch as it gets

I cannot wait to do this. This is a life saver. I ordered my HH when I was new to hanging. I ordered the bottom entry because it was on sale. I love my HH but I would enjoy it so much more if it was zippered.

This mod is exactly what I was looking for. I am going to show this to my wife tonight. If she does not think she could do a comparable job I will be sending my HH Explorer Deluxe in to 2Q and ZQ soon. I found that I don't like the velcro under entry way system and this solves that problem. I'm new to this site and already have found excellent solutions to make this HH better. 1. 2QZQ zipper mod. 2. Whoopie slings 3. AnitGravityGear Muletape Straps
