    HH Bugnet zipper installation

Interested in a bugnet zipper on your Hennessy? See us at www.2qzqhammockhanger.com

A bug net zipper installation makes a terrific enhancement to an already great Hennessy product. The ability to unzip the bug net provides the following benefits:

    1) provides access to external gear bags via “reversible” zippers
    2) maximizes ventilation
    3) eliminates the “snowfall” of crystallized condensation in below freezing temps
    4) provides an “off the ground” area making pack loading much easier.
    5) makes top loading entry possible

    We offer three modifications.

I'm sure quite a few folks will find your service very useful. Will sure ease the 'Wraslin" match that happens in a Hennessy hammock with pads.

I would also like more info on this.
Is it difficult to reach the zipper at the top? Is it also possible to make it a removable bug net?
    [email protected]
    Thanks

After looking at it a little closer I see that it can't be removable.

We really haven't tried to make a completely removable net. The two 1/2 zippers are easy to get to. I haven't had any problems. Last night I tried a "side entry" without any problems at all. I wasn't sure that would work...but it does just fine if done with care.

I think the issue with a completely removable net might be the reattachment. Might be a real pain. I know some other hammocks have done it, but we haven't tried that yet. At this point we're not going there. There has been some interest in a one full side zipper instead of two 1/2 zippers. That's a possibility.

PM if interested and I'll provide more details.

I have been struggling with doing this to my HH,but I have never sewed or for that matter any DIY hammock project. I want to find out the costs and timeframe it will take your better half to complete. Can you PM or e-mail me. I dont need a completely removable bug screen, but I am definately interested in having something that zips almost all the way off. I hope to hear from you.
