Crappy trip??? I agree that sleeping in a campground sucks but it is better than being stuck at home or at work!!! With views like that, I would go at it again and again.

Ya , this was a heavy snow year in the sierras. It's been a long wait to get out there and hike. I'm watching the trip reports and the snow is melting, but still pretty heavy around 9 thousand feet. Thanks for the report!
Any grand adventure you come home from is a good one. I love the pics. Sorry it didn't turn out as expected...
And those of us in So. Cal are thrilled there's that much snow pack... It means I can actually wash my car again!
