I will add that we can't forget most of them are one man/gal operations
they sometimes will not be able to get to every question or e-mail right away..
i'm friends with a few of them and i know they get up to 50-100 e-mails a day sometimes more

so give them time... heck some i'm friends with and it's taken 4-5 days to get a e-mail back

also they are very transparent when it comes to there gear and we come to take that as the norm and thats one reason to me that brings me back to them for my gear ...
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

couldn't agree more OG, think of what would be missing without them, and they do it for the love of what we like to do. Like the people we know through this forum, makes our lives better knowing them

I agree with OG. I am in the market for 2 new tarps. I could call hennessy and have 2 on the way but I am waiting for one of our cottage guys to secure the materials to make them. A wait I will gladly endure.

Very well said and I absolutely agree. They have been swapping their gear with my paychecks for some time now !!!

I am about the biggest cheapskate you'll find but I also believe in quality and customer service!!! I believe the price I paid for my kit is actually a bargain for what I got. I have been nothing but satisfied with everything I have purchased from these CIs....

I only buy from cottage companies now. My days of going to EMS and REI are over!

I'm with OG. I love cottage industries. I like my gear made in America by Americans. (No offense to our HF members over seas is meant).
