I had a cool apartment, with two fluted columns (inside). I strapped them, and my hammock was the only furniture for 5 months. (well, tv and stand, and stereo). My gf would not like me sleeping in the hammock now. I miss it, real nice for reading.
An emergency of my own making...is still an emergency.

i've been sleeping in a hammock for over a year now. I sleep so much better than I do in a bed.

the only time I don't like it is when i'm trying to force myself to get to sleep (such as when I have to be up in the morning at 4am, but i'm used to going to sleep at 1am), I just can't seem to get comfortable.

    other than that, it's great

3 months now in my WBBB. Actually got rid of the bed to make room for it. Then bought a couch that folds out into a bed for those times a little more room is needed ;-)

I'm loving the good nights rest.

I'm a "full timer". Have been for over 4 years: having the ability to sleep at work, so, one hammock there, one for inside the house & one for outside (either at home or on the trail.
Have slept in a bed about 15 times this year, usually against my will or because I'm too lazy to set up outside & the inside hammock is elsewhere.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

diy, sport nylon from Hancocks, 10.5'x 5' w fold on foot end roll on head. Nice soft feel, a little heavy for packing.

To all of you full timers, how are you hanging indoors? Is using a stand the only method that works? I've looked around but can't seem to find a comprehensive guide to putting hooks into walls. I'm a bit worried since i'm 6'3 and 250lbs!

    What can I do?
