newbi from motor city, What up!!!

yes i am new to hammock backpacking in fact, I am still looking for my hammock. Any advice when it comes to buying a hammock? Any at all will help out a great deal ? I have been backpacking for about a year and i must say i love it, the sound of sleeping up off the ground sounds great to me. I mainly go backpacking in the spring ,fall and winter. I am 38 with a bad back, some mornings i wake up and cant walk because i sleep on the ground so I hope that this hammock helps. I am going on a trip in october and in november and cant wait. Happy hanging to all.

Welcome aboard. Coming from a 39 yr old with a bad back as well you are definitely gonna love the hammock. When I sleep on my hammock I wake up refreshed and without any back pain. So enjoy!!!

Welcome. A lot of us in the area. I'm sure we can recommend and even show off a few different hammocks to help you decide.

Welcome aboard from Florida. Take a little time and absorb some info, some buy some diy. I'm into my third week of fulltime hammocking and have never slept better in my life.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
