I, unlike many here, have no sleeping preference. I have slept in a fleece blanket and 2 garbage bags under an overpass, on a pile of chains in an aircraft carrier catwalk while oil fires burned to starboard, with crude tarp tents, and just layed down in the grass and slept. I like hammocks because I got used to sleeping in them, and I can hang my hammock ANYWHERE, even really stupid places, with the right pieces of stuff. And I have slept in a hammock in 20 degree weather in a blizzard, so it can be done. And I was comfy. Well... coldishly comfy, but not so bad I couldn't sleep. Tents have their advantages, but you cant camp on the side of a cliff in a tent. And if you are selling the hammock, and "don't like tents either"... where are you sleeping, in the great outdoors? Hollow logs? Bear dens? What?
I dont like tents or hammocks really, but I do prefer a tent over a hammock, so next trip I'll just bring a tent. I had never used a hammock before, so bought a warbonnet BB to test one. Hammocks are not my style.

Actually I do like the look of Kifaru's ParaTarp, but its $190. I could try to make my own.

Edit: On second thought, tarps expose you to mossies, spiders, scorpions, centipedes, ants, and snakes...

Hello, There is something I would like to share with everyone here on Hammock forums; it is known as "Everyman's right." Sweeden, Norway, Finland, and a few other countries have it.

We dont have this right, doubt we ever will. Nothing like that can be allowed to exist here. We are too selfish and miserable. We're mostly a bunch or rich greedy *******s who exploit the other poorer greedy *******s.
    That's us. Human Nature.

This land is my land, not yours, now get off it before I shoot your *** to hell.

What does this have to do with wanting to sell your hammock?
