food, please be advised that my flat footed friend from New Mexico dressed in the black Ninja suit may have a tendency to run amuck.
Poor Trailryder42 is tasked with keeping him in check by himself this year, and it was all the two of us could do last year to keep him under control. (Even tried to get him in jail but he talked his way out of it) I'm following this thread closely and whining a LOT! Working on ways to change things here but not looking good. Missing you TQZ; TR42, you'd better take a flask of bourbon to keep you fortified for your task!

    we will miss you

We will miss you waddy. But OutandBack and I have been talking about having the 2013 summer hang in your back yard - the west side of the Flat tops. We need your help. When is a good time for you?

Yes, 3 people currently have committed to the north loop. The average is 6 miles per day. That leaves lots of social time around camp. Campfires are not allowed at Red deer Lake the first night. Unless we get a lot of rain there likely will be a fire ban in effect the entire time.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

You were doing a heck of a lot better job of it than I was.

OK, so here it is; after watching the planning, visiting with food, catching heck from my questionable friends, and nearly having a stroke from following this thread, I'm throwing my hat in the ring and informing my shooting club that something unavoidable has come up and I won't be able to participate (I'm blaming YOU for my lack of integrity, TQZ!). At any rate, please count me in; my happy meter just pegged out, and I can't wait to see all you miscreants!!!

I just realized (finally) I was abbreviating your name wrong! Maybe it is a result of all the harrassment I have to endure. TZQ it is, and a proud name to boot!

Hanging in Colorado sounds like fun. Do you have any more openings?

    Desert Reprobate,
Openings are available for both the north loop hike starting on Sunday and for the hang /day hike and fishing adventure. Just contact food or OutandBack respectively based on which option interests you the most. ( Additional details are located in this thread.)
Just be forewarned that you don't want to hang to near waddy as he tends to become quite flatulent after hiking and has a tendency to borrow underquilts from his neighbors if he gets a little chilly during the night.
