Figure 9's

Howdy folks, so I went searching high and low, left and right, all around here. Wal-mart, Dicks, and the very few camping stores that exist in this area, and I can't find any Figure 9's! I ask people and they look at me like I have three heads haha. Where did you buy yours? I thought I had heard someone mention they bought theirs at Wal Mart, maybe I missed them...? The guy at Dicks had no clue what I was talking about, he started to show me some cheapo rope hammocks and I went on to tell him I had a way cooler hammock lol. I don't think he knew what a ridgeline was. Ahhh well, that is what happens when you hire anybody to work at your stores

There are not many camping stores within reasonable driving distance from here unfortunately. Went to one but it was dedicated to RV's...their is an REI about 30 mins from here and Campmor north about an hour +. So I am stumped...any suggestions? Thanks!

Hardware stores have them sometimes, Harbor Freight carries them for the best price (if you have those there). In my own opinion there are much better options out there. I used to use figure nines for my tarp ridgelines and now use microcarabiners and prussik knots.

REI certainly has them. But I picked mine up a Harbor Freight because they were cheapest place around. If no stores in your area have them, then I'd say just order some online. Unless of course you're looking for an excuse to walke around Campmor or REI.

Dicks here has em, 4 with reflective lines for like 10.

I haven't seen them at Walmart but Dicks, Harbor Freight and REI carry them for sure.

if your local Dicks doesn't stock them you can mail order it from the store with free shipping to your domicile.
I wasn't able to find anything on their web page though.

REI has a nice set with 8 feet reflective cords for $10.00
