The only thing about Brandon not asking them to remove their "Superfly", is if he doesn't defend his trademark, he loses it...
Something I don't want to see happen, especially to one of our own.

    Dear Eno.

I make my own stuff. This tarp is why.

    Love, hippofeet.
An emergency of my own making...is still an emergency.

See to me, eno makes good quality intro hammocks, but every thing else seems way off the mark. Getting into hammocks via eno, I was grossly mislead about some real camping items, prices sizes and weights. Bit they have a particular client base and I am(now) not in it. I'm happy I found the real stuff!

To each his own. I don't want the High dollar stuff. If I buy another, it will be another ENO and I will customize it to my needs. Just like I just did.

I have stayed with WBBB and Hennesy owners. Just not my cup of tea. Granted, I don't plan to buy this tarp. It was a Joke.

There is nothing intro about ENO hammocks, they are just as good as the over priced hammocks. Some people just don't want to pay for a name, some people know quality AND price matters. I could say more but I will take my money and common sense and go hang in my ENO.

Does Brandon have the name trademarked? Is it even a trademarkable name as it could be considered part of common language? Or perhaps Brandon has it trademarked as "Warbonnet SuperFly".

But I agree he does need to protect his trademark if he does indeed have it.

I dont know about US rules in this case, but here in OZ, IIRC something that has been in the public domain is not able to be taken and registered as anothers. ie "Warbonnet SuperFly" as a name cannot be reg'd by someone else. Superfly as a word has been around that long, it would need a prefix to be registerable.

But then, if you give the right law firm enough $ you can get almost anything.
