    If this is the way you usually use the clip, you have found the problem.

    Rotate the strap so the clip is to the left side of the tree allowing the strap to pass straight through the clip instead of wrapping around it.

    I see. I have been putting the clip on the side of the tree thinking I needed it to make a P. I'll adjust the way I hang. Learn something new everyday.

    It still needs to look like a 'P'. Only it should look like the a P as printed so the loop on the other side.
