Great video JustDuane. Thanks for taking us along.
The water looks milky is that just dissolved rock?

Well, I'm not sure of the exact reason for the color, but my guess comes from the way the water is used in that area. Upstream of Twin Falls, a lot of the Snake River is diverted into long irrigation canals. These canals subdivide over and over until they run across the farmland - some is absorbed into the ground and some keeps going where collects back up and flows back into the Snake River downstream. I would guess that a lot of the water that ends up in the Rock Creek comes from some of that runoff, so you probably have some of the soil mixed up in the water.

How's that for an educated guess

Maybe we have an expert on here that can tell us more.

    Thanks for watching!!

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

They were really spectacular! They say that the water levels were down due to irrigation, so I'll bet that they are really spectacular at different times

Thanks! Yeah they were really amazing. Nothing like seeing water just shoot out of the middle of a cliff face! Really a cool sight

Thanks! My trip out to Idaho was really excellent. It's such a beautiful state with totally different geography. Being able to go from Moscow Mountain in the northern part to the high desert in the south was very cool!

Wow! Big difference! It is an amazing canyon and it's always impressive to see what water can do!

    Thanks for the link!
