    Finished my top Quilt

Well my 1/2 cuben, 1/2 momentun top Quilt is done. 3 In of loft should be good to 15*, easy. In the stuff sack it weighs 19oz. That makes Top Quilt at 19oz and Unde Quilt at
17 oz. This should be good for a three season set up. I will be using it for a late March early Apring Thru-hike.

I'll say! Anybody can have a quilt made out of one color, one fabric but this goes above and beyond! Betcha won't get it mixed up with someone else's quilt

It the same inside and out, Cuben, then Momentum. each is oposite the other. This way the Quilt can breath.

Very cool, how does the Cuben feel against the skin? I would have thought that all Momentum would feel slightly better, but, what are your thoughts???

Very cool looking ,and outside the box quilt.

    A few questions:

    1. what is used for the baffle material. (this is the only gateway for water vapor to pass in this quilt)

    2. how much down and what type was used?

    3. What dimensions was it built to?

    4. what conditions have you tested it in?

I am going to be building a winter TQ sometime soon. Everyones DIY TQs are very interesting.

    Thanks

    1. Baffles are No seeum 2 1/2 in high.

    2. 12 oz of 800 down from Stromcrow.

    3. Its 78 in X 52 in.

I just finished it so it has niot been tested yet, but my first thoughts are. The Cuben feels a little cooler at first comparer to the Momentum.

This is kind af a test quilt. I wanted to see how light I could go and still have a breathable Quilt. Its as breathable as any sleeping bag or other qulit I have. 6 oz lighter then my other Quilts, and 12oz lighter then the sleepng bags.
