Neither HF, nor it's moderators ever condone doing anything illegal or dangerous. Period.
That doesn't seem to be required for the contest that the OP listed, though. It seems that simply even a cleverly-chosen or unlikely hang could qualify, as long as you get a pic of the hang.
If everyone feels this should be re-stated more plainly, then we can remove this thread and let the OP re-phrase and reset the whole thing. But I think the idea of a 'clever or unique' hang contest has some merit, as long as everyone takes care in doing it.

Just give the hat to Shug and be done with it! He's hung in minus 20 degree weather and that's about as extreme as you can get.
