FOUND: Dutch Clips for a down and out friend

I have a friend who is a little down on his luck. I tried to lift his spirits and took him on an overnight hang which he loved. Now I think I have created a monster. Ha! Ha! I'm trying to put together a few extras of mine and get him his own Hammock set up. He has a pack and a bag for a quilt and pretty much everything but a hammock. I have Tree straps, extra whoopies and I ordered him a hammock. It's only a Byler but the thought that counts. He was like a little kid admiring everything. So now all I want to try to get for him is - Dutch clips( he commented on mine and thought they were so innovative) Anyone have a set they'd let me have cheap or possible trade? I'm not well off or I'd get him a new pair and some other Dutch goodies. I'm doin all I can for him, he'd do no less for me if the shoe was switched. Thanks! PM me if you can help.

Are you using 1 inch or 1.5 inch tree straps? I have an extra pair of 1 inch dutch clips you can have complimentary.

It doesn't surprise me that here, it has been covered so quickly! I have received a couple of offers and now I have more than I started out trying to get. He will probably stop by this weekend and I know he will be touched by everyone who stepped up to 'cheer' him up. Truly an amazing group we have here. Thanks all! Two Tents

    Question

Already covered in two hours? GREAT! But if I read anything wrong and you still need a pair, I'll send my extra 1" pair to you, no charge. Or, what else might he need? He's lucky to have a friend like you to give him a little needed boost. We all need that from time to time.

Thanks for the offer Rain man. I'm sure he's OK on gear as he was an avid backpacker. I was just trying to get him excited again about something that he used to love. He has no access to the internet so he will be blown away when he comes over and I give him all the stuff and show him this post where so many stepped up to care. Impressive!

Moderators can close this Please. I'm getting a flood of messages and I now have it all taken care of. Heck, no surprise I have some offers of tarps, and what does he need, and let me know if there is anything else, on stand-by, just in case, ect. Thank you all so, so much!
