I voted every night, but on occasion (when the GF comes over) I sleep on the pull out bed. That is on occasion also as sometimes I still sleep in the hammock. We have an what some call an odd relationship, I call it perfect. I spend some time out of town also, so if the hotel/room has nothing to hang my hammock to, I end up sleeping on the bed. But the hammock goes just in case.

So I think that qualifies more for every night rather than on occasion. Should have made an option for On occasion, special occasions, I have to sleep on a bed.

i started hammocking in '07 because the ground hurt my back so bad. 1500 miles later i am a happy camper, but i will take a bed over a hammock everyday of the week, if its available

When I'm in the new house I have plans to devote a room just for hammocking with all my gear strung around and wall hooks so I can sleep out in there, on occassion. Just don't tell Mrs Dogstar! She still thinks it's going to be a shared craft room.

On occasions. I have a permanent setup in the woods which start on the other side of my driveway. I spend at least 1 or 2 nights a week there and especially want to go whenever there is bad weather. But, I think I might change one of the tie up points. Its the tallest pecan tree in that area and lightning makes me nervous in that situation.

Fulltime in a Mayan, I get vertigo when I try sleep on a bed. Nothing beats the gentle sway from mauka to makai breezes all night. Best is when it rains and though I'm inside it's like floating on a cloud in a storm.

Just finished my hammock hanging rack. My first "in-house" night is tonight.
I hopped in early this afternoon, you know, just to see if it felt right. I guess it did because I don't remember anything for the next hour.

So here it is a month later. Of the people who voted, a little over half use them for camping and right around 28% sleep in a hammock every night. That seems like a decent enough group to justify getting some of these threads into their own house hammock section.
Tag with Home if your thread is more about home hammocks. Thanks!
