It has always been my private conviction that any man who pits his intelligence against a fish and loses has it coming.
I will try milking it more(that didn't sound right), but I'm pretty sure I have the slings set up correctly and well-milked. I think it's an inevitable function of sag with comparison to the distance I'm spanning. Even heavy duty electrical lines sag quite a bit when they span pole to pole so I think that's the effect I'm getting here. I will just try to tie higher. I am about 6'2" and a reach of around 8' and I thought that was high enough but when I'm all saddled in, my butt is inches off the ground, so definitely need to try something else.
What about structural ridgelines? Do those help at all here?

If you have ENO slap straps, you have found the problem
