Hi guys, getting pretty geed up about the hang. Just a note in advance, it's gonna get fairly damp down there at night what with dew, mist etc so probably best to bring some warm gear.

Hi Guys,
Great to see we have the gang getting out for this hang. Sorry to hear a few can’t make it, but we will have plenty more over the next few seasons for all to enjoy!
Looks like we could have a chance of rain with possible showers forecasted at this stage. As Phrayzer suggested some warm gear could be in order. I’ll toss in an extra party tarp in case the showers are hanging around.
Time Talk – How does a 11 o’clock meet at the Marramarra NP carpark sound?
Just let us all know what times suits and we can arrive at a time that suits the group.
Cheers

With the forecast looking iffy at the moment , Kiwigrrl and I are probably going to give this weekend's hang a miss (soft I know!), and wait for a hopefully warmer and drier weekend next month. We going to make the final go/no-go decision Thursday, based on the forecast then.

Hey guys, where is everyone at for the weekend?
Seems like the forecast's improved at bit, so we're going to be there. A ground-dwelling mate of ours is bringing his six year old daughter along for her first night of camping outside their back yard, so we'll need to wait till after lunch till her soccer game is done. Probably will be at the Marramarra NP carpark around 1pm to 2pm.
I'm getting together with them this evening to do some planning - I'm not sure how much walking the young lass will be up for, so we'll have to plan around that.
Either see you at the trailhead, or down at the campsite!

Hi Mate. Speaking on behalf of Phrayzar and myself. We're both still in (Barring a Monsoon). We're planning on arriving by Canoe. See you there!

Looks like Smartee and Phrayzar are in charge of bringing the esky then.

Any orders for the Booze Boat? ;-)

I'm coming in by motorbike. Is it the Marramarra NP carpark that I need to head for? I'll need to leave my bike there overnight.
We're all good. K said something about ice for her cocktails, but I know nothing of such things...Originally Posted by Smartee
If it's a road bike, you might not want to go further down the dirt road than the Marramarra NP car park. With the bit of rain there's been this week it'll probably be a bit mucky in places.Originally Posted by Bateman
We're going to drive on down the Marramarra Fire trail, leave the car at the locked gate, and walk from there. Otherwise we decided it'll be too far for the little'un to walk. Probably we'll get to the gate around 2:00-2:30pm. Seems there's a chance of showers Sat evening, so we're going to bring an extra tarp to sit under if needed.
