So here it is the Jesters Coat (a DIY Tarp)

So after a couple days (working on it mostly at night after work, family and kiddo) it is finally done. I like the stealth camping idea and thought hey if i am stuck under a fallen branch what is a better way for someone to see me than this. So two colors wasn't enough, I had to go Five colors...never again...Two colors max...I broke two needles countless bunch ups and a couple "I can't wait till this ****** is done", but it is done, somewhat...need to add a couple more tie outs, but hey...i am proud making my own stuff hammock, tarp and soon the waterproofing of the tarp...

the materials was just ripstop and grosgrain from JoAnns...
    Hope you guys like it

Thats really great, a proper one off.

Someone suggested I made a patchwork tarp a while ago.
My reply was; "are you mad?"

I wouldn't have the patience, my hat goes off to you.

Nice work. I feel your pain, that's a lot of seams!
What do you mean by "stealth camping"?
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

"Stealth" camping/hanging, I thought was using colors that didn't draw attention to individuals(digi, black, green).

As for the proofing doing the DIY sil/nyl mixture that was posted on here...
